The Short Version
Zeno Wave is engineered as a 100% offline, local-first simulation experience. We do not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data. Zeno Wave contains zero analytics SDKs, zero advertising networks, zero user identifiers, and zero cloud services. The application executes deterministically in airplane mode with zero outbound network traffic.
Device Permissions & Hardware Usage
Zeno Wave requests zero sensitive device permissions. Specifically:
No internet permission (android.permission.INTERNET) is included. Zeno Wave cannot make network calls or transmit data under any circumstances.
Audio is synthesized on-device via SoundFont MIDI. No microphone permissions are requested or used, and no ambient audio is recorded.
Local Settings Storage
Zeno Wave stores user configuration preferences strictly on your local device using standard sandboxed key-value storage (SharedPreferences on Android). This includes:
- Active visual theme selection (Electric Violet, Cyan, Emerald Gold)
- Selected SoundFont instrument and audio mute toggle
- Spoke count and oscillation mode preferences
- Simulation playback speed presets
This data remains exclusively inside the app's sandboxed storage and is never uploaded or accessible to third parties.
Paid Features & Purchase Verification
If you choose to unlock optional paid features or pro presets, transactions are processed directly by the platform store (e.g., Google Play In-App Billing or Apple App Store). Muraimai does not collect, receive, or store your credit card, bank details, or billing addresses. Only an anonymous digital purchase receipt / entitlement status is verified on-device to activate your unlocked features.
Zero Third-Party SDKs & Analytics
Zeno Wave contains zero analytics libraries (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel) and zero third-party advertising SDKs. No telemetry is collected regarding your usage duration, selected musical modes, or hardware device specifications.
Data Retention & Deletion
Because all settings are stored locally in application sandboxed storage, uninstalling Zeno Wave or clearing application storage in Android system settings permanently erases all stored preferences immediately.
